Babylone J&F (Baoloubet du Rouet x Muscaris D’Ariel x Carolus II)
It’s hard to find a stallion genetically so impressive as Babylone. His father is the much praised Baloubet du Rouet; a big name both in sport and breeding. Together with Rodrigo Pessoa he won Olympic Gold and tree World Cups in a row. His offspring are nearly as equally celebrated, just think about horses like Chaman, Bubalu VDL, Sydney un Prince and Paloubet d’Hallong.
On Babylone mother’s side we come across the stallion Muscaris D’Ariel. He is the son of Diamant de Semilly and is bred from a Laudanum xx mare. With this lineage it’s needless to say that Muscaris D’Ariel’s jumping qualities are outstanding, achieving success at the 1.60 level. His offspring have followed suit and are strong contenders in the jumping arena. Babylone’s grandmother jumped at the 1.30 level and originates from the great Holsteiner Carolus II and the Belgium mare Topaline. In Carolus II genealogy, and thus also in Babelone’s, we come across yet another 1.60 stallion. And Topaline can’t remain unmentioned. She jumped at the 1.50 level and is the sister of the approved stallions and 1.60 horses Jus de Pomes, Quintus, Richebourg and Tresor d’Opaline. An exceptional family!
Babylone has a very pleasing character and really enjoys working together with his rider. His canter is very sound and on the jump he shows good reflexes, carefulness and scope. On account of Babylone’s superior heritage and all round character he would be an excellent asset to your breeding program.
