Qlano (Quintus x Celano x Ekstein)
The sturdy Qlano is a son of the genetically very interesting Quintus (Pavarotti vd Helle x Garitchou x) and the top breeding mare Seoniek. Quintus competed successfully at the highest level and is the half-brother of none other than Olympic champion Jus de Pomme. Their dam Opaline des Pins was an exceptional mare as she gave no less than five 1.60, one 1.50 and two 1.40 horses. In addition to Quintus, she has four other approved sons: Trésor d'Opaline, Richebourg, Jus de Pomme and Shogoun II. On the sire's side of Quintus, we see the highly prized blood of Pilot back through Pavarotti van de Helle.
Seoniek (Celano x Ekstein) is the dam of Qlano. This exceptional mare has already produced many top talents such as the 1.60 horse and approved stallion Wolisco DDH, two 1.40 and a 1.45 horse. The Grand Prix horses Paddington and Poker Face come from Qlano's direct dam line.
Qlano jumps with great overview and attitude. He has a good canter and shows remarkable balance in it. It is a modern built stallion with a fantastic appearance. Qlano is a very nice stallion to work with.
